Every
Woman Works, Inc. Learning Center is a safe, therapeutic
and supportive environment where women who are homeless,
recovering from alcohol and drug dependency, in transition
from the penal systems, recovering from domestic violence,
living in poverty will have an opportunity to develop
solid, transferable work skills, to strengthen their
sense of self confidence and to obtain financial independence. |

Since
opening its doors in early 2004 as a non-profit 501c(3)
organization, Every Woman Works, Inc.
has achieved remarkable success in accomplishing its
mission. Over seven hundred (700) women have participated
in the program. Eighty-Five percent (85%) have obtained
employment. Seventy-Five percent (75%) have retained
employment. Ninety-Eight (98%) of the women served are
heads of households. Over two thousand and one hundred
(2100) children have been represented and served by
Every Woman Works, Inc. These results speak
well for the sponsors, supporters and the volunteer
board and staff of Every Woman Works, Inc. |
